Relbia is a short drive south from the city of Launceston and has a handful of wineries. Most are small, family run enterprises but the 60 hectare vineyard of Josef Chromy’s is also nestled into this area.
Josef Chromy Wines is the culmination of Joe’s experience in the Tamar Valley and its unique vineyard site (60 hectares) and the location is delivering both exquisite table and sparkling wines and providing one of most memorable food and wine experiences in Tasmania.
Sharmans Wines are made from grapes grown at the “North Esk River” vineyard which is located on the banks of the river which runs through Relbia. The site has proven to be excellent for the production of premium wine, it has good exposure to the north and a pleasant view down the valley to the Ben Lomond ski fields.
