Say goodbye to winter with an alumni retreat at The Creech. Meet other WSET students from across Tasmania and taste some delicious wines without the rapid fire questioning of your WSET sessions.
Start the afternoon with a tasting of international wines followed by a cleansing ale in The Chukka club or an explore around the property. During a relaxed and informal dinner, participants are requested to bring a wine with a story to tell. Whether it was a sentimental moment, a wine you made or one that surprised you, tell your story in front of the fire and share that moment.
$175 per person Dinner and tastings included. Call 0467 052 977 for more information.
This July we brought hygge and Tasmanian whisky to The Creech. Curly (Vintage Tasmania) and Dr Fi (Research Legend) were back with another eclectic Tasmanian experience.
Tasmania hit the ground running after 150 or so years with no distilleries. Thanks to the work of Bill Lark, there are world-class whiskies being produced right here on our doorstep. We held a masterclass, showed off some re-vamped classic cocktails and enjoyed a whisky themed dinner, all with a backdrop of roaring fires, eclectic tunes and fine company.
Hygge? The Danish invented the word but I think Tasmania has perfected it…
